September marked a milestone month for Integrity Security Group, as we successfully commenced two major projects:
We are pleased to welcome Kira to our Head Office team as our new Business Administration Apprentice. Kira will be supporting the team with a range of administrative tasks and developing her skills as she begins her career with us.
We would like to welcome on board our new Office Administrator, Joshua Mullings, who is based at our Head Office in Redditch, to deal with any questions, queries, or HR-related issues. Please join us in wishing Josh every success in his new role!
This month, we’re delighted to congratulate Rebecca Sopher, our Quality & Compliance Manager, and David Coates, our Operations Manager, on reaching an incredible milestone—10 years of service with our team. Their commitment, expertise, and contributions over the past decade have been invaluable, and we’re grateful for everything they’ve done to help us thrive.
Integrity Security Group has successfully renewed our Gate Safe membership for another year. This renewal reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism in the security industry.
As of the 01st April 2025 , door supervisors and security guards in the UK will need to complete refresher training to renew their SIA (Security Industry Authority) licences. This new requirement is part of the SIA’s efforts to ensure security professionals have up-to-date skills and knowledge to maintain public safety. The refresher training will focus on key safety-critical skills, with an emphasis on practical application and real-world scenarios.
From March 2025, the Separation of Waste (England) Regulations 2024—an update to the Environmental Protection Act 1990—will require all businesses with 10 or more full-time equivalent employees to separate recyclable materials and food waste from general waste. These regulations, also known as the Simpler Recycling rules, aim to increase recycling rates and reduce waste sent to landfills.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our services, we’re proud to announce the recent purchase of a brand-new fleet of vehicles for our Letchworth and West Midlands Mobile Patrol Teams.
Integrity Security has renewed the prestigious Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) certificate. This accreditation lets our clients know that Integrity Security meets the highest safety standards and ensures that correct procedures and health and safety standards are followed.
As of 24/02/2025, LDN Policies are changing with the SIA, The rules on licence dispensation have remained largely unchanged since they introduced our Approved Contractor Scheme in 2006. The new process means that all LDNs now need to be submitted through the employer’s business account and approved by the SIA before they can be issued to employees. LDN’s are now only valid for 5 weeks as opposed to previously, when they were valid for 10 weeks – The SIA are processing License applications more efficiently, with these taking only 8 working days on average to be processed.
